Protagonisti National Assembly
Protagonisti: Young People in the church
Saturday 11
February – the National Assembly for youth leaders and representatives was held
in Mount St Joseph, Tarġa Gap. Over 120 youth ministers participated in the
discussion, focusing on the role and contribution of young people within
the church.
Archbishop Paul
Cremona along with other church officials were present to listen to the
concerns and recommendations of the participants. The event drew together
voices from the main environments of youth pastoral commitment: parishes,
movements, educational structures and other non-formal setups.
This was the
fifth National Assembly held by the commission for young people within the church
(KDŻ). The proceedings of the occasion will guide diocesan pastoral action over
the coming year.

Between the Lines

You might have an eye for detail, but do you have a heart for it?
In the clutter of our day-to-day cycles we easily overlook detail, but that doesn’t mean we are unresponsive to it. Quite the contrary, we only need a moment of stillness to sharpen out the little things around us that make everything else so meaningful.
Stupid or smart, bishop or babe; we all need some inspiration to look deeper between the lines running through our lives. Fortunately, this year is unfolding right-on in that direction!
Between November and June, the young church is cooking up a hearty experience to release the new flavours of the Word of God. And true to these sentences, archbishop Paul Cremona is also warming up to these moments of inspiration.
A first for the church in malta, Between the Lines is a unique encounter with the Word of God; a intimate convergence of the lines of your life with the lines of the scriptures.
Upcoming: Thursday March 1 - Gharghur Youth Centre, 7:30 - 8:15.
